Life can be challenging and, even with our best efforts, we can have difficulty sorting through our own challenges. Let us help. Sometimes, having an impartial listener can help. Whether you're anxious, depressed or trying to sort through relationship difficulties, our therapists are trained to give you our full attention and help you find the solutions that work for you.

We offer the options of in-person therapy, virtual counseling or telephone sessions to current and new clients. (Our virtual services are offered through HIPPA compliant and encrypted services. This option involves new clients filling out intake forms--links on first page of this site--and either faxing them to 817-275-3720 or emailing them to our office at centerstaff@hotmail.com. Arrangement of payment method needs to be made with our office and we are glad to file insurance claims when appropriate.)

Credit cards are also accepted. All our therapists are licensed in the state of Texas.

LIVE LIKE NO ONE’S WATCHING

HOLIDAYS AND FAMILIES

EXTRACT LEARNING FROM MISTAKES

IT’S OKAY TO QUIT

“My mom and dad divorced when I was two. My dad physically abused my mom, so she took me and left. They tried again a few months later and the abuse escalated. He broke her glasses, pulled her hair, slapped her and pushed her down. They separated for about 13 years. Then later when I was […]

IN PRAISE OF FOSTER PARENTS

Lately, foster parents have been getting really bad press, what with cases like Jerry Sandusky molesting the foster kid he adopted. The foster system isn’t always pretty. There certainly are bad people in the system and some are just trying to get money, housing foster kids for the cash, but I feel the need to point out that […]

NEVER SATISFIED?

In our culture, it’s a common belief that being satisfied is a bad thing. We equate this with not having initiative or with being lazy, but personal satisfaction has many more benefits than risks. Being satisfied with the accomplishments you have doesn’t have to indicate that you’re not still yearning and seeking new and exciting […]
